My name is Lucy - I am a yoga teacher and an artist who set up Mandala Yoga in 2016 to share the wonderful teachings of yoga, and the creative healing of mandala - making, with others in my community.

I teach a range of uplifting weekly classes in Falmouth, as well as popping up at festivals, and run one - off workshops and retreats locally. I am also available for private classes and workspace classes, please just get in touch!

I have studied with many wonderful teachers in London, India, and Cornwall, completing my 200hr Ashtanga - Vinyasa Yoga teacher training in India, and my 30hr Yin Yoga training in Ireland. I have almost finished my second 200hr in Lotus Vinyasa Flow Yoga under the guidance of Keren Cooksey at Falmouth Yoga Space. I am a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance UK, and a member of the British Wheel of Yoga.

 

I think that yoga is a unique and joyful way to find balance in our lives, improve our physical and mental health, and explore our connection with the world around us. When we practice self - compassion, we then hold the capacity to offer this compassion back to others. 

My classes create a safe space for students to find some peace, laughter, and lightness in their day. Drawing on ancient yogic philosophy, I like to incorporate breathing techniques and meditation into the classes, together with a soothing soundtrack of music, to encourage a more relaxed state of mind.
